    This memorial to John McCain was erected because he was shot down near there. John McCain was landed the lake with his broken arms and shoulder. A group of Vietnamese man saved him and then him to the Hoa Lo or Hilton Prison for 5 years. He parachuted into Truc Bach lake where the memorial is located.

Wonderful tour lead capably by Brian and his team. We saw stuff we would otherwise not have seen. Great food. And a memorable tea ceremony. Five stars. We also went on his night walking tour. Excellent!!
