Carolina had a lot of knowledge about the city and it's history. She was early for the tour and provided great historical and cultural context.

Marten was truly a wonderful tour guide. He told the story of Amsterdam’s golden age and the impact WWII had on the Jewish community who lived as well as the current impacts of COVID. It was an enlightening and emotional tour. We discussed a range of things from architecture, art, and economics.
Marten was very kind and open to all our questions and curiosities, it felt like getting to take a walk with my history professor. You should absolutely take his tour, I know I will when I visit again.
Thank you Marten!

The description is misleading as it included “Anne Frank museum” (her picture is on the Advertisement for the tour contributing to the confusion) leading one to believe it includes a tour of the Anne Frank House but it does not. That is why we purchased the tour and we’re disappointed that it was not part of the tour. The description says it ends at the Anne Frank house (admission not included) which I interpreted to mean that I would need to pay the extra price for admission which I was fine with. However, tickets to the museum must be purchased separately and several weeks in advance. Be aware if your desire is to tour the Anne Frank House and don’t make the same mistake I did.
We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours. Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
