Experience the original Royal English Tea with traditional sandwiches, cakes & scones in the 18th Century Tea Room by the Palace. First, we stroll around Kensington Gardens & learn of its long history. We will see the beautiful gardens Albert created for his wife Queen Victoria & take in the spectacular views as we approach the Palace where Prince Harry and William grew up. After viewing Diana's statue, we will then enjoy the full splendour of High Tea and give you personal insights into our royal family and the fascinating history of our national drink and the ceremony of afternoon tea. . All Food and Beverage Service includes Service Charge. . The tour itself does not include any gratuities and are entirely at your discretion . Alcohol is not included. A drinks menu is available when you visit for a supplementary cost. . The Palace Tea Room can be closed at short notice.  In these rare cases, we arrange for High Tea in a prestigious alternative venue.

David was professional and personable throughout the tour. He took the time to explain British history as we walked through a gorgeous display of gardens, fountains, birds, and walking paths. Lastly, he led us to a high tea restaurant overlooking the lawn and explained the history of how English “afternoon tea” came to be. Highly recommend this activity for tourists who want to experience the history of Hyde Park and end with a decadent meal.

The guide, Paul, is knowledgeable and humorous. He shared the history like story telling which made it easy and enjoyable for whoever not familiar with British history interested. It was delightful to enjoy a royal high tea at the Orangery, the sandwiches, scones, desserts, and tea was delicious. The Kensington Garden walk was relaxing and a good way to burn some calories before the high tea.

We had a top-tier tasting tour with David through Kensington Gardens, followed by a delightful afternoon tea at the Orangery. David was a fantastic guide-knowledgeable and engaging-sharing so much fascinating insight throughout our beautiful walk. The setting was stunning, and the food was absolutely excellent. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish! Highly recommend
