This was our first activity for our weekend in Manc, and it was disappointing- and if you consider the price of a ticket, pretty outrageous.
We walked to a few random spots in the city that were hardly cheese related (mainly, mates of the guide, which could be insightful if they had anything relevant to tell us, or were cheesemongers, say) and we hardly learnt anything. Certainly nothing memorable about cheese in Manchester or even England. Halfway through, we got to a public arcade and sat on some tables, ate some random cheese and had wine from paper cups, and were made to sing happy birthday several times.
Look, if this was £10 then maybe acceptable, but it wasn't £10 was it? It put us in a sour mood. Well done to the guide for making a lucrative business out of rinsing unsuspecting visitors.
