Good to see back streets of Bristol. Was easy walking around and made us look up! Nice to stop in a couple of pubs and had nice Sunday lunch in the Hatchet

Having done the London and Oxford hunts, we then stayed on in Bristol for the weekend of the Balloon Fiesta (a fiesta with very little balloons I must add!). The hunt was just as much fun as the previous ones... a lovely walk around the town finding clues and learning something about the merchant history of Bristol too. I never knew where the phrase 'All ship-shape and Bristol fashion' originated - but now I know. Great fun and so relaxing. You can do this as quick or as slow as you want. Bath and Brighton next. Or maybe Winchester? Or.... :-)

These Mystery Guides are an excellent idea. This one had us looking at our home city in a new light. It's surprising just how much you can not notice as you walk around.
