There are so many tour guides to choose from in Zanzibar but If you're looking for a professional, funny and incredibly knowledgeable tour guide Ally Jape is your man! Ally's knowledge about the history of Stonetown, its architecture and little known facts made this tour experience memorable. He showed me a few hidden gems that I would never have found on my own and shared so much information about the culture. I would give him nyota kumi (10 Stars ????) if I could and would highly recommend Ally if you're looking for the best tour guide in Zanzibar!

I would recommend this tour as a necessity for anyone visiting Stone Town for an extended period. Ally was very personable and knowledgeable about his city. He also gave great recommendations for our time after his tour. In all, this package gives you a lot of context about the city’s landscape and history with a guide who feels like an old friend, who is a history buff, showing you all the famous and hidden parts of his hometown.
