Perth Mint was a great place to visit! The tour was so interesting and informative. Ending in a live gold pour which was phenomenal to see. I would highly recommend this as a place to visit if you are in Perth, very unique.

We booked the 1 hour tour and Clay was our guide. Clay is a great story teller and we learnt a lot about the history of the mint, saw the amazing million dollar coin and some large gold nuggets. We pressed our souvenir coin and could see our value in weight of gold! Clay demonstrated pouring a gold ingot which was a great sight. The area where you watch the golf pouring is stadium seating so difficult for those with mobility issues to climb the stairs, it would be good if the first row was reserved for those who can’t manage the stairs. You have a perfect view from wherever you sit.
