The Real Crete: On this excursion you will have the opportunity to see many places that represent the traditional lifestyle and some historical facts of Crete. The first stop is at Melidoni Cave which is a cave full of history and dates back to Neolithic Period based on tools and items found it the cave. The second stop is at the village of Margarites. Margarites is famous for its pottery that goes back many generations. The third stop is by Arkadi Monastery, is the oldest monastery in Crete. You then continue on the village of Apostoli. Here you will visit an old olive oil factory and see how the production of our olive oil is made. In this village you will also eat in a traditional tavern whilst enjoying the beautiful sound of live Creta music. The second last stop is at Saint Antonios Gorge for photos and finally the last stop which is the Dam known as "Fragma Potamon" which is the home of many animals and flowers.

I loved this expedition! Very nice to do. The group was super friendly and carried by the good mood and kindness of Anastasia our Guide and Kostas our driver (and ambience)! We did even more things than planned in the program with very nice surprises! Thank you for a beautiful day from which I leave with nice memories and beautiful photos ☺️

Very interesting trip that allows you to see some of the countryside and nature. We had a very good Guide in Anastasia who guided in very good English and German. The experience at the monastery would have been even better with guiding. The "lunch" was very nice and well prepared but arrived a little late in the program so please bring some talk. The driver Costas was very skilled and participated in the entertainment as a musician and dancer. We are very pleased and recommend this excursion to anyone who holidays in Rethymnion.

Such a fantastic day! We originally booked for the Monastery (which is beautiful), but we visited Melidoni Caves, Margarites, a gorge and a fantastic Greek taverna. The taverna was excellent. Niktarious the guide was a fantastic host, demonstrating and teaching Greek dances. Everyone got up and had a good time! The bus driver Kostas played some of the music on his Lyre which was such a lovely experience. It's a long day but we had such an amazing time!
