Meet adorable puffins on this tour of some of our busiest local puffin roosts with an experienced ecologist - just a short drive out to and a gentle walk through the Caithness puffin colonies. Watch them take off and climb into their burrows to nestle and feed their young, flying overhead amongst other seabirds such as guillemots, fulmar, razorbills, cormorants using high powered binoculars. Look out for our grey seals, or on a lucky day, our local whales and dolphins. There are easy routes for young children or tougher trails that get you up close for hardier hikers. Please note that at this time, customers must have their own transportation in which your tour guide will accompany you, or message seawolf tours to arrange transportation at least 48 hours in advance. 2 person minimum. We'll suit this tour to you. Good walking boots are essential, and bookings are subject to cancellation during bad weather. Binoculars and ID guides provided.

Fantastic tour at Puffin Cove! Wear your sturdy boots and bring your walking sticks for balance. Getting down to the cove was a bit of a scramble but absolutely worth it! Saw hundreds of puffins and a few other seabirds. Highly recommended!

I was blown away by the end of the tour had learnt alot about wild bird life, mammals and actually saw some seals swimming. Hoping to see some whales one day. some have seen them on the tours. Lady is so informative reccomend it highly to everyone and children

The Seabirds and Seals wildlife walk was worth every penny. Jess’s enthusiasm and knowledge is infectious and her presenting and delivery is spot on. I’ve never really been one for wildlife but Jess has opened my eyes to just a small selection of what my new, adopted hometown has to offer. We’re booked for the ‘Bats and Beer’ evening on Friday and can’t wait. Jess is a natural at this kind of stuff and I’m sure there are many like us who have had and will have an amazing time on the tours that Seawolf provide. Get it booked - you won’t regret it.
