  • I do not recommend this challenging game for solo travelers. No team mates can be provided for you.
  • Most hunters need to be able to walk for 2 hours. However if you have a less mobile team member, your host can make suggestions of where they can play from and interact with their team by smart phone.

We used Tara for a scavenger hunt for a large group at work while we were on a trip in Taos. It was extremely fun and we made some great memories while learning about our surroundings!

Not your mama's Scavenger Hunt! Enjoyable, wacky and educational challenges. We spent lot of time chatting with locals. A great way to experience a new place.

My wife and I were in Taos last week for a few days. We've been to Taos several times over the years and were looking for a new experience on this visit. We saw the Taos Adventurer Scavenger Hunt in Tripadvisor and thought we'd give it a try. We had a GREAT time!! It is a unique and creative concept. Tara and her sidekick "Fig" are your guides. She sends you all 20 clues at the beginning of the hunt through WhatsApp on your phone. She is available at all times -- providing hints, checking on your progress and encouraging you. You are free to complete as many of the clues as you want and many of the clues require you to interact with locals or other visitors in Taos. We thought it as a lot of fun and would recommend it to others visiting Taos.
