This is a beautiful place and when we were there in late May, it was not crowded at all! However, when I hear thermal lake, I assume warm, and it is not warm, not even tepid. So, if it's not a warm day, don't go. Also the price viator charges includes the driver and lunch, not admission to the lake. I thought it included lunch AT the lake, but it did not, the driver drove us to a restaurant. I would have preferred lunch at the lake or to pick lunch on our own. Not really worth the price, considering.

This was a wonderful quiet day in Athens after spending days in over crowded ports. Our driver “Johnny” was amazing. He was right on time, communicated through text throughout the day, and drove very safe. The lake was beautiful and not too crowded which was great. The only negative for me personally was the fish. I have only seen tiny fish at the spas which nibble on your skin, but these were a little larger. I could not go in the water because they just turned me off, but most of the people there enjoyed the natural fish doing this. I would go go again just for the beauty and relaxation. Also we purchased the lunch option. The lunch was fabulous. We had stuffed tomato and pepper with rice which was excellent. In fact every part of the lunch was great from the view, to the service and food. If you have been to Athens before and seen all the history highlights, this is a great way to spend a port day.

Enjoyable day. Ioannis was polite and very helpful. Car was very clean and comfortable. He gave us information on the area as we travelled through. We spent a couple of hours at the thermal spa, then he recommended a nice place for lunch and took us there. A nice relaxing day.
