Hile is a very nice person, so friendly and with a big knowledge of the orthodox cristianity. I visited 2 rocky churches with him, in the Wukro group, absolutely beautiful. The first one, Abraha we Atsbeha is about 15 km from Wukro, and it has the best paintings in the zone. Moreover, Hile brought me to a typical ceremony in the early morning, set in wukro chercos, the main church in Wukro; an experience absolutely unique. Thanks to him and to his kindness.

The places are simply amazing, impossible to describe in words. Notice that for Abuna Yemata you must not suffer from vertigo and is helpful to know basic rock climbing, although there are some guys helping you (tip is strongly suggested at the end). Haile is very nice and prepared about Orthodox theology, as all the church guides they strongly believe in what they're telling you.

I booked a 2 day Tigray churches tour via a different agency in Addis who organised the tour with Haile at Ethiopia Tigray Tours. Overall I was very impressed. Haile is very friendly and knowledgeable and was able to customise the tour to make the best use of my time. The tour itself was great - stunning views and interesting history with Daniel Korkor Church being my personal highlight. Definitely a must-see whilst in Tigray. I would recommend Ethiopia Tigray Tours.
