They owe their names to the fact that until the middle of the 20th century, fruit production from the Paraná Delta landed there, which was then marketed in the city of Buenos Aires.

Do not book this experience! I paid $600 for a tour that none showed up and Viator would not give me a refund. We arrived on time Followed dyne instructions on the email and none showed up. Ended up paying $200 more plus food and expenses to be able to travel back to Buenos Aires. Total $800 just for a boat ride back and forth. No tour. Has to pay for my own meals and travel.

All the people we're very nice. The problem I had with the booking through trip. Advisor is not getting any information until the very morning of the tour we had. To find the places which were very difficult and we had to figure out that we had 3 stages of our Tour boat. Ride personal guide and then a car ride back which was not described in the tour. I will probably not use TripAdvisor to book anymore. Trips wasn't a very pljust the process, not the people.

Our guide to Tigre was good, but apparently we were linked with another group and did not have the same schedule after the boat ride. We were first dropped off for 30 minutes at a shopping area, which was to have had a lot of crafts and souvenirs. There were items made of wood, but for a little else that wasn’t from China. The boat ride was pretty scenery, interesting houses, very busy river. We were supposed to have earphones with English translation of the commentary, but never received any and didn’t hear a commentary in any language, perhaps because we are standing at the rear of the boat because it was so crowded inside. Apparently, those inside could hear the commentary, but the choice was to hear the commentary or be able to see . The lunch, which was included with the tour was the worst meal we’ve had in Argentina. Absolutely no flavor to the food, soggy french fries, and extremely poor service. Coming back to Buenos Aires., we were to have visited a museum, which didn’t happen. All in all, I would say, the trip was a waste of our money and time!
