Taisho was our guide. The experience was beyond my expectations. We were able to experience an excellent dish called hoto which Taisho recommended, you can’t miss it. The Ice Cave was such a great photo opportunity. We were able to see so many places not offered by any other tour! We had a blast!

Our guide, Sumiko, was excellent, and spoke English very well. We had a private tour for 6 senior adults which was tailored to our exact needs and desires. Sumiko was efficient and attentive to our plan and was in touch several times by email prior to our arrival to determine the sights that interested us. She was flexible enough to add in a last minute request to take us to a sumo training session where she interpreted questions and answers. She even went over and above to call and make a dinner reservation for our group. We had a wonderful tour of Tokyo taking in several parks, shrines, the Imperial Palace, the market, lunch and much more. We all felt that we were very satisfied in the value, and very tired by the end of our day. Our driver Toshi was so good and helpful—even finding us in a park to bring us umbrellas when it started to rain! Thanks to them both for making a memorable day!
