A place where you can relax away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the tranquility of the Japanese countryside. The uniqueness of the tour, the importance to the tour is to experience driving through the countryside with the occasional stop a place with a scenic view , a waterfall, lake , shrine or temple.

    Enjoy the Bamboo temple deep in the mountains. It is an ancient temple dedicated to the Buddhist king Gozu, a king with the head of a cow and the body of a man. Throughout the temple complex are very timid wild deer and monkeys. The are watching you but are very Shi.

Wonderful experience of Tokyo countryside. So much to see, explore and discover away from the busy city. Definitely recommend this tour; Jeremy is very knowledgeable and gives you tons of info and history from each site.

Jeremy gave us the Royal treatment, we were able to customize our tour to include places I wanted to see. This was my Birthday Treat to see the countryside and Jeremy delivered a superb tour. The backroads of Tokyo and the area we saw was some of the most beautiful scenery ever. If you want to go first class book this tour. My companion and I had a great time on this tour with Jeremy who was very knowledgeable about Japanese folklore and mythology and was able to provide context and the significance of the sites we visited. He even gave us a few book recommendations. The sites we visited were well worth the excursion and were far away from the typical tourist traps and we appreciated the private tour and pickup from our hotel as well as the lunch spot Jeremy took us to.. We wish all of the guides on our trip was as knowledgeable as Jeremy was.
