    Mount Fuji 5th Station is the entrance to climbing Mount Fuji. Many people climb Mount Fuji from here as a starting point. (It takes 2hours from Tokyo to Mt.Fuji 5th station and travelers usually stay at 5th station for 30mins)

    You can enjoy a beautiful view of Mount Fuji over Lake Kawaguchi. There are two different views of Mount Fuji. One is the mountain itself and the other is inverted in its reflection on the water. (It takes 30mins from Mt.Fuji 5th station to Lake Kawaguchi and travelers usually stay at Lake Kawaguchi for 30mins)

  • Owaku-dani Valley, Hakone-machi, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan
    Owakudani is the area around a crater created during the last eruption of Mount Hakone some 3000 years ago. Today, much of the area is an active volcanic zone where sulfurous fumes and hot springs can be experienced. It also has good views of Mount Fuji on clear days. Eggs cooked in Owakudani's hot spring pools with their shells blackened by the sulfur are on sale at shops in the area, and eating one is said to prolong one's life by seven years. (It takes 1hour from Lake Kawaguchi to Hakone and travelers usually stay at Owaku-dani Valley for 40mins)

    The cable car takes you to Owakudani known as Great Boiling Valley. You can enjoy a beautiful scenery from the cable car.

    Hakone shrine was built in 757. Many military commanders prayed at this shrine devotedly, which brought it fame throughout the country. It has a big gate. It provides an excellent view as it looks like floating on the lake ashi.

    You can take a sightseeing ship which navigates Lake Ashi. It looks like a pirate ship! On a clear day, a breathtaking view of Mt.Fuji and the gate of Hakone shrine can be enjoyed from the ship. (Travelers usually stay at Lake Ashinoko for 40mins and it takes 2hours from Hakone to Tokyo)

Excellent day out with Mr Masayuki Mogi from Outech today for a day trip to Mt Fuji and Hakone. Though the day started with forecast of cloudy day at Mt Fuji, Mr Masayuki was able to think quickly and adjust the trip plans to find alternative sites to get a good view of Mt Fuji. We truly appreciated that as we managed to get several good views of Mt Fuji. We also went to a nearby waterfall (Shiraito waterfalls) and get another good view of Mt Fuji and also a nice rainbow at the waterfall. Further enjoyable moments of the trip were a good lunch at Kintaro soba at gotemba, followed by hakone ropeway to owakudani, and visit to the famous hakone shrine. All in all, it was an enjoyable day for our family and we will engage Mr Masayuki for our next visit to Tokyo.

Definitely love this personalized trip and the best service I’ve met so far. The chauffeur is so polite and explained everything in a very detailed way. The total trip is from 8:30am in the morning to 5 pm. Everything was well scheduled and the view was stunning. Will come back again if I have a chance! Thank you so much.
