Also, the International Driving Permit is a booklet and must have the word 1949 Geneva, or the date of the actual convention, **Be AWARE of non-official permits that easily sends you a digital permit for a high price!!!**

We had a blast on this tour last week while we were vacationing in Tokyo! Definitely one of the highlights of the trip for me, my son, and daughter. We booked from the Shibuya location and you will definitely feel like a celebrity when you go through Shibuya Crossing and wave to all of the passersby who want to take your photo. Our tour guide Daniel was awesome and it's amazing how safe you feel even though we were driving in busy urban traffic. I contacted the shop and booked the tour over Facebook messenger as the website recommends. The shop was extremely responsive and taking care of everything was a snap. They do ask that you send a copy of your international driver's license to them via messenger to validate that it complies with the legal requirements up front. Once everything is confirmed the shop sends you a payment link via messenger and you complete the transaction via PayPal. In addition to the free costumes and the cameras available for rental, there are free lockers for storing a small bag or purse while you are on the tour. There is also a small pouch right below the steering wheel of your go-cart that zips closed and is large enough to hold your cell phone, passport, etc. We would definitely do this again if we had the chance and highly recommend!

We had a great time and everyone we tell about this experience, either can’t believe it and/or has put it on their bucket list. We did the 3 hour tour which wasn’t too long or too short. Highly recommended.
