From the early Heian period to the collapse of the Tokugawa shogunate the samurai and ninja always roamed the streets of Kyoto. Now they are back! The samurai and ninja museum brings back the history and helps you to have a glimpse of these heroes’ glorious lives. What is more, you can have a hands on experience including wearing a samurai armor,  doing a shuriken (ninja star) throw and using a ninja blowgun all in one place, all included in the tour.

Fantasic experience. Guide was brilliant and entertaining in an informative way. Kids loved blow darts and ninja stars.

Very informative bout the history of samurai and ninja. We had a great time with the guide, trying out ninja action activities and also the armour of the samurai. the samurai who had put up a good show also did impressed us!

friendly staff, good information about shogun, samurai and ninja history. can wear samurai armor and throwing shuriken and dart for free(include in the price ticket). must try this went you visit to kyoto.
