Agra city is widely acclaimed as the Mughal city or the city of the Taj Mahal. This city besides the World Heritage Monument – Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, & Fatehpur Sikri, has numerous attractive monuments and each has unique features of tessellated work, pietra dura work, paintings, rock-cut carvings, etc. In this present tour product, we avail you the opportunity to explore three less known monuments which are based on the banks of the River Yamuna.     In the morning or in the afternoon our driver and tour guide are going to meet you at your hotel at the time suggested by you while booking this tour product. Later you will be driven to the Tomb of Itmad – ud – Daula which is popularly known as the Baby Taj. This garden tomb is built on the basic concept of char Bag system (four quartered garden pattern) the tomb out of pure white marble stands in the middle with four sided gardens, gateways, water courses and the fountains. The tour guide will mention to you about the architectural similarities of the Taj and this place. Outwardly this tomb has the mosaic work and inwardly decorated with fresco.

  • Chini Ka Rauza Mausoleum, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India
    After the visit of this tomb you proceed to visit the Chini Ka Rauza (the tomb decorated with blue tulles. This is tomb of a famous poet and has close affinity to the architecture of Samarkund.

  • Ram Bagh, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India
    Finally you visit Ram Bag which is the Tomb of The founder of Mughal dynasty Babur and was earlier known as Aram Bag. The emperor Babur was first entombed here and later according to his desire his remains were shifted to his native place. After completing your sightseeing tour if you wish to visit any local bazaar of Agra, you can do and finally you will be transferred back to your hotel.

It is smaller in size and intricate marble craft. The intrinsic marble crafting is around the Makarana white marble wall . The structure us located around a small greenery located on the eastern bank of the river Yamuna. the sheer beauty of fine intricate jali work on marble makes this place worth visit at least once.

Built between 1622 to 1628 AD by Noorjehan in memory of his father Mirza Giyas Baig, this marble mausoleum is often christened as Baby Taj, due to its smaller size and intricate marble craft. The delicate Kali work on marble around the Makarana white marble wall is something worth visit. The structure us located around a small greenery located on the eastern bank if the river Yamuna. We revisited the structure on a March afternoon. The entry costs Ra. 25 for Indians and Rs. 300 for foreigners. You have to remove your shoes before you climb on the structure. There are people, with whom you can keep your shoes for free. But they expect some tips naturally and Rs. 10 per pair is enough to make them happy. You can visit this place if you have time in hand during your Agra visit. The place does not possess glamour, size or historical Importance as compared to Taj or Agra Fort. But sheer beauty of fine intricate jali work on marble makes this place worth visit at least once.
