If you are interested in WWII, this is an amazing site. You really get a feel for the war's impact on the island of Okinawa. We learned so much.

I appreciated the fact that there was signage in English. It caused me confliction because I saw the awful challenge of the American forces and the despair of the Japanese forces and the civilians who sought protection from the Japanese.
