    Upon arrival we will enjoy a local snack and drink, then we will take a ride on the Medellin metrocable, the only one in the world that was created with the intention and need to transport locals in their daily lives. We will observe the social contrast in Medellin and we will have the best view of the city.

    We will arrive at the commune 13 of Medellin, in the sector of the stairs. There we will try different Colombian drinks and snacks. We will talk about the history of violence and transformation that the community has had to face, and we will interpret the graffiti that accompanies us throughout the tour.

We had an absolutely amazing time in Medellín, Colombia! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The city is vibrant, full of culture, history, and breathtaking views — it truly lives up to its reputation as the “City of Eternal Spring.” A special thank you to our tour guide, Meghan, who made the experience unforgettable. Her knowledge, energy, and love for Medellín came through in every part of the tour. We especially appreciated how attentive she was — always checking in, making sure every need we had was taken care of, and going the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and welcome. She made sure we felt safe, informed, and engaged the entire time. From Comuna 13 to the cable cars, coffee tastings, and everything in between — it was all perfectly organized and incredibly enjoyable. The gastronomy in Medellín is also outstanding! Every meal we had was delicious — from traditional Colombian dishes to more modern fusions, the food scene was a highlight of the trip. Meghan and Franky were such amazing tour guides! We couldn’t have asked for better service as Meghan attended our every need and went above and beyond what we asked for. She made sure our path was accessible for wheelchairs and made our itinerary was flexible so as we could change plans whenever needed. Meghan was so incredibly kind and such an amazing conversationalist with my entire family. She was so knowledgeable and easygoing, definitely recommend for anyone looking to tour Medellin, Guatapé, or communa 13.
