    First stop! You have arrived in Dzibanché, one of the most important Mayan cities in the south of the state. Among its structures, the Temple of the Owl and the Temple of the Cormorants stand out. There is a high probability of seeing howler monkeys and different types of exotic birds.

    During this stop you will visit the site of Kohunlich, famous for being the only site with large Mayan masks. You will visit the "temple of the 27 steps" and the "temple of the masks".

Es war eine sehr schöne und lehrreiche Tour! Das Essen in einem Hotel war auch super lecker. Man hat gemerkt, dass Chanty super viel Ahnung von den Maya Ruinen hat und mit Leidenschaft dabei ist. Es war rundum gelungen und ich würde die Tour jederzeit weiterempfehlen ????

Good tour, the combination of jungle + ruins is perfect. Shanty is a great guide with a super positive attitude. One recommendation though: - at lunch, the food was great, no complaints there, but going to a fancy resort hotel for lunch, feels off for this culture-themed tour. Would have preferred lunch in a more... authentic, down-to-earth setting, possibly supporting a local business.
