San Pedro Apostol de Andahuaylillas, Andahuaylillas, Peru To the church of San Pedro Apóstol de Andahuaylillas it has been called "the Sistine Chapel of America", and in some sense, the subordinate likeness would be justified: this architecture is one of the most amazing and beautiful songs of religious art, a silent testimony of Andean town. 60 minutes
Tipon, Cusco, Peru it is surmised that it was constructed as part of a country estate for Inca nobility. Some of the finely cut stones and trapezoidal doors and windows imply an imperial air that was reserved for royalty. 180 minutes
Piquillacta, Huarcapay, Peru Pikillaqta is a village of the Wari people. Wari was the centre village and other cities like Pikillaqta were influenced by it. The Wari also inhabited many other sites around the area. The site was occupied from about 550 to 1100 AD. Its main use was for ceremonies and the site was not complete when it was abandoned. 60 minutes

Excursion beaucoup moins recherchée mais qui vous emmène dans des sites où vous rencontrez 3 époques historiques : pré-inca, inca et coloniale, avec un groupe à taille humaine.

Jonathan, our tour guide is a professor of history. He was terrific. Our's was a tour group of 2, so basically, a private tour. I wasn't sure what the weather would be like, so I waited until the last minute to book this. We were picked up on time from our hotel. Jonathan shared with us his deep understanding of each site with wonderful personal stories of his own experiences. Tipon was the highlight. We set the pace of the tour through each stop and were free to linger and take pictures. We ended with a stop for some yummy, local bread on the way back to Cuszo. I recommend this tour.
