Let us take you to some of the best vineyards in the area - Amboise, Vouvray, Touraine - and discover the amazing wines - whites, rosés, reds, and sparkling. Walk the vineyards, tour the caves, and taste wines (10+ wines) with the winemakers. Full-day tours include 3 wineries and a homemade picnic lunch served at a vineyard. The lunch or snacks can be added to a half-day tour (for an additional fee) to make a truly French experience. You'll have the opportunity to buy wines at each vineyard and we can arrange shipping services for the wine to be delivered to your home! NOTE: Pickup originating from a 5km radius of Amboise or Tours. If it's a one-person, private tour, there is a 60 euro surcharge.

    Pickup at your hotel or Gite On a half-day tour, we typically visit 2 vineyards, walking through the vines, visiting the cellars and caves, and tasting wine (10+wines)! A picnic lunch or snack can be included. On a full-day tour, we visit 3 vineyards and a 3-course picnic lunch (with wine and bread!) is included. You'll visit the vines, caves, and cellars and taste 15+ wines. You'll learn about the region, terroir, grape varietals and wine making process that makes Loire Valley wines so amazing. You'll have the opportunity to purchase wine at each vineyard and we can arrange shipping services.

We spent a wonderful day with Keith and Linda who shared with us their knowledge and love for the wines of the Touraine and Vouvay regions. The couple are very friendly and did not rush us as we toured three very different wineries. We had a delicious three course lunch, the highlight of which was the local tartelette des vignerons, an apple tart with a red wine gel on top, we genuinely had never tried anything like it! The wineries are all small family businesses, often handed down through generations, and it’s very special to hear the wine makers talk with pride about their heritage and their wines. We probably tasted about 20 wines and had a snapshot to the wide variety of wines in the area. Keith and Linda were terrific hosts, we felt like we had known them for ages, and we would gladly recommend them and their tour to all visitors to Amboise and this part of the Loire Valley.

The highlight of our trip in France! Beautiful wines, a delicious lunch, and Keith and Linda are true wine professionals. My wife and I did the half day trip and went to 2 wine tastings (the wines were so good that it was worth the extra effort to ship a couple cases back home which Keith helped facilitate) and then they made us an outstanding lunch. It was honestly some of the best lunches we had during our whole stay in France. We would definitely book this tour again!

I have been terribly remiss in writing my review but wanted to be sure I did as Dave and I had a truly wonderful day with Keith and Linda! Everything went off without a hitch from picking us up at our hotel on time, seamless experiences at the 3 unique and interesting wineries we visited, a beautiful local homemade lunch and even arranging getting our purchased wine back to the US. They customized the tour based off of what we were interested in which was amazing. We visited the Vouvray region of the Loire valley so we were able to experience the many faces of chenin Blanc. Keith and Linda were super knowledgeable about wine with just the right balance between education and fun! The whole day was like hanging out with old friends. We highly recommend booking a tour with them! We will definitely reach out the next time we are in France!
