This is an authentic experience where we will learn about the food and traditions of Peru by visiting local markets and non-turisty areas along with our expert guide and transport. we will go towards the fishing neighborhood of Chorrillos to visit the fresh fish market for learning about our seafood and the best fish to prepare "Ceviche" which is our national dish. We will recognize the different types of fish we have and we will learn from our fishermen friends! We will visit these traditional markets where we will be able to learn about the native produce from Peru, all of this coming from the Andes and the Amazon of this beautiful country. We will have a fruit tasting so that you can experience unknow fruits with such a unique flavor. After that, we will be meeting our friends from the different stores in the market, getting to know about our everyday life in Lima. Enjoy an original and tasty ceviche and have the best of Peruvian amazon food!

Excellent tour of 3 markets with Lucas. We tried great local dishes and amazing Peruvian fruit. High recommend to anyone who loves food and wants to try exciting new things you can’t find anywhere else!

We had a great time with Jean Paul (French name but he’s Peruvian. His mom just liked the names :). Jean Paul studies history of Peru, studied many gastronomy courses, and is a certified tourist guide. He was very good in walking us through two big food markets and explain many things about the boos we saw or tasted. He’s fun and trustworthy. Highly recommended!
