    Fishing shelter Vlychada is located on the south coast, just a short distance from the archaeological site of Akrotiri (the Bronze Age settlement) and it is one of the island’s most popular beaches thanks to its striking volcanic rock formations. The picturesque marina of Vlychada is a small round harbor in which sailboats, speed boats, and fishing boats find shelter. The port where all the sailing yachts try to moor is a fishing shelter, renamed to the marina. You will take unforgettable photos!

  • Tomato Industrial Museum, D.Nomikos, Vlychada, Greece
    Tomato Museum The museum is where the tomato factory used to be, founded by D.Nomikos in Vlichada. The historic factory was opened in 1945 by George Nomikos, the son of Dimitrios Nomikos, who was the first in Santorini to produce tomato paste with industrial means at a small pre-industrial plant in Messaria. On exhibit are a variety of interesting objects including processing machinery dating of 1890, documents, tools, labels, and old cans. The museum organizes workshops and fun activities for children. You can experience a journey to the past through a guided tour and witness the traditional methods of cultivation, processing and production of tomato. In addition, you may admire the various exhibits that date back to 1890; a collection that includes processing machinery, old tools and manuscript, the first labels ever used, as well as an audiovisual material with recorded narrations of people who worked at the factory that makes the visit worthwhile.

  • Canava Santorini Distillery, Mesaria, Greece
    Canava Traditional Folklore Museum Situated in Mesaria using original items. It includes traditional workshops of old occupations barrel-makers, etc). The traditional winery is hosted in traditional cave houses of 1861. It holds a gallery, historical archives (manuscripts, etc). You may visit the beautiful garden with trees and flowers, where the lovely chapel dedicated to S. Constantine and Helen was built. In the Museum Gallery, a wing which was added later to the original house, you may admire a display of drawings, oil paintings, watercolors and other works of well-known Greek artists, inspired by Santorini. Finally, the Folklore Museum hosts different traditional workshops with full equipment for carpenters, barrel makers, shoemakers and tinsmiths. A visit to the museum is a time travel to a bygone era and offers valuable insight into the culture and tradition of the island of Santorini.

If you want to do it all in 1 tour this is the best solution! We visited the main island sightseeing, we had horse riding in Megalochori and a tasteful lunch in a traditional tavern! It was really fun and the driver / guide gave us so much information without being boring! I recommend them!

Plan nasz był prosty. Zobaczyć najciekawsze widokowo miejsca na Santorini osiągalne w popołudniowej wycieczce plus zachód słońca w Oia. Van reprezentował super standard, a kierowca był nie tylko miły i grzeczny, ale miał też wiedzę o wyspie. Otrzymaliśmy to o co poprosiliśmy. Punktualnie, z uśmiechem i w poczuciu komfortu.

My girlfriend and I chose the ‘Traditional Half-Day Tour’. We were picked up by a beautiful luxury van and to our surprise we were the only ones on the tour! So this ‘Half-Day Tour’ became a PRIVATE tour! We were very excited and our driver was amazing and so kind. We arrived at our first stop which was horseback riding, and we absolutely loved it. We rode through a quaint, beautiful little village and over hilltops with ocean views. It was so much fun and there are some great photo opportunities. Next we were supposed to go the the tomato museum, but since it was just us, our driver allowed us to change our route! We ended up visiting the archaeological site which was very cool to see. Next we visited the Red Sand beach which had beautiful views of the whole beach and all the catamarans. After that we went to the light house which also was beautiful and had a great lookout point that we walked to and could take amazing photos. Our driver was so kind and offered such great information about the island and the places that we visited. He was a great guide!! We finished off our tour at a winery for lunch where the food was delicious and the wine was outstanding! Our guide decided to call this the ‘Riley Traditional Tour’ when the day was done which was so cute. Thank you so much for this amazing day and tour!! Best, Riley and Joseph
