In the historic city of Trakai, in a traditional Karaites home, you will cook and taste kybyns, prepared together with the chief and representative of the Karaites community and kitchen. In the cozy home, you will become acquainted with old-lived history, traditions and the culture of Karaites in Lithuania. You will also find out secrets of kybyns and learn a special technique to roll out a dough. Through a fun and easy lesson you will get to know more about this unique meal, the secrets of which are transferred from generation to generation of Karaites families. Finally, you will enjoy the unique taste of kybyn made by yourself together with some delicious soup.

We were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The chief of the community guided us through the process of making kybyns, a traditional dish that has been cherished for generations. It was fascinating to learn about the significance of this meal and the stories behind it.
