Enjoy a day trip from Sibiu to some of the best tourist attractions of Transylvania. Visit Corvin Castle, also known as the Hunyadi Castle which is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved medieval castles in Transylvania. And maybe spooky to. The next important stop of the day will be the sanctuary of one famous Dacian fortress. Find out about way of life of Dacians and their beliefs. Leaving this mysterious archaeological site, we head towards Alba Iulia, one of the best preserved Vauban style fortress in Europe. Walk along bastions and towers of Alba Iulia, visiting the Unification Cathedral or the beautiful decorations of the imposing gates.

Es sehr schöne Tour, wir sind 08:00 in Hermannstadt/Sibiu gestartet und Richtung Sarmizegetusa gefahren, anschließend gab es viele Interessante Informationen über Dacia. Danach ging es Richtung Hunedoara um die sehr schöne Burg dort zu besichtigen. Zuletzt dann nach Alba Iulia um die Zitadelle (Stern) anzuschauen, inkl. den Kirchen und der Geschichte dahinter. Auch sehr Interessant die Geschichte von Hunyadi. Sehr zu empfehlen, der Guide war sehr nett und alles war entspannt. VG

This review is very tardy due to the situation in the world from January 2020 until now. I was so fortunate to have found Ion Dima during my planning of a visit to Romania which was during the summer of 2019.( I had to enter 12/21 in the description since that was the oldest date available.) I had several days to fill in with a visit to important points of interest in Romania before I joined a group in Bucharest. The group and I were heading into Moldova, Transnistria, and Ukraine. We were only doing the Danube Delta down on the Black Sea and I didn't want to miss seeing something of Romania. Well, Ion designed a terrific tour for me that was very complete! He speaks perfect English and was very considerate and great fun to be around. I highly reccommend arranging a tour with Ion...he's the best!!

My family took a guided tour with Ion Dima and we were so impressed with him and the beautiful country. It was our first time in Romania and we were able to see and learn so much more because of our guide. His English and knowledge of Romania were both incredible and we highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in Romanian culture. We loved it!
