We will travel to a traditional Romanian ranch and we will have a horseback ride adventure through fields, hills, and forests. Deer, various birds, rabbits, foxes, and other friendly wild animals can be encountered during the experience. The plan is to enjoy nature, connect with the horse and free your mind! You will be picked up from your accommodation, we will start our trip with a drive from Brasov to the chosen horse ranch depending on your skill (beginner, intermediate, advanced). A horse that's suitable for your riding level will be assigned to you. The pace of the horseback riding experience will be set to suit your skills. Tips before and during the experience will be provided by a certified horseback riding instructor that comes along the way. Our route includes fields, hills, and forests. You will be able to enjoy breathtaking Transylvanian landscapes. After we return to the ranch we will have a traditional Romanian meal made from organic ingredients.

Departure Point

Traveler pickup is offered

The departure will be at a specific hour, depending on the weather, from Brasov to the starting point on the horseback riding we will do around half an hour through an amazing landscape.
You will be waiting by the guide in the lobby of the hotel, or in front of the address.

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

This activity was by far the highlight of my trip to Romania and I can’t wait to come back and do it again! Dan was our tour guide and made sure my family and I had an incredible first horseback riding experience, including my 50+ years old parents. Everything about it was perfect - the horses which were well groomed and so gentle, the actual riding itinerary which included hills, bridges and even a local road at some point (not your typical boring arena laps), the after-tour of the farm and stables where we saw all the ponies and stallions, the delicious 3 course lunch after the ride etc. I can’t recommend this enough - whether you’re a beginner or an expert in horseback riding you will most definitely lock this in as a favorite memory!

Everything was nicely organised. We knew all the details we needed before hand. I had a relaxing, but also exciting experience. The horse was very gentle and well trained. It was a great first time horse riding experience! If you want to see the Transilvanian landscape from a back of a horse this is the tour for you!

The guide was super. His name was Alex and was easily reachable before the trip. He spoke English very well and was super knowledgeable about the area and sights to see.
