    We continue our trip to the famous Bran Castle. To get there we must go trough Prahova Valley, leaving behind elegant mountain resorts Predeal, Azuga and Busteni which are continuously attracting a high number of Romanian and foreign tourists, on the road that crosses the whirling Prahova River. Breathtaking natural beauty is opened in front of your eyes but the most spectacular view is from Busteni where you can admire the highest peaks of the Bucegi Mountains: Caraiman Peak, Costila Peak and Omu Peak. Also called Dracula's Castle, it is situated at the entrance of Bran-Rucar pass. A remarkable architectural, the monument was built between 1377-1382 on a rock 60 m. After Bran Castle visit, head to a local restaurant for lunch of fresh salads, traditional soups, delicious sarmale, meat, chicken, vegetables and other regional fares (drinks and meals at own expense). Traditional lunch can be arranged in Bran village.

    Visit Rasnov Fortress, which was built in the 13th Century, might just be the most enchanting of them all! The fortress is the biggest in Transylvania and one of the best preserved in Romania. Beautiful panorama over Barsa Land from the very top of the fortress.

    My tour with Bogdan was absolutely fantastic! He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable but also friendly, funny, and passionate about what he does. He shared fascinating stories, gave us great local insights, and made sure everyone was engaged and comfortable throughout the experience. You can tell he truly loves his job and cares about giving guests the best possible experience. I learned so much and had a wonderful time — highly recommend booking a tour with Bogdan!

    A wonderful day trip! Bogdan was very knowledgeable and friendly. Peleş Castle was fascinating and we were able to skip the line. Bran Castle no longer allows guides to take groups through, but Bogdan gave us plenty of interesting information on the drive to the castle. The fortress is still under renovation, but provides a great view, and is still worth the stop.

    Let me start with our guide, Bogdan going above and beyond. My mom is 80 and needed to take a break towards the end of the day. Bogdan insisted I continue and he would take care of my mom. He made sure she had a Coke, a snack and a comfortable place to sit. She was blown away by his kindness, I will forever grateful for the care he took. The tour was fascinating, so fun. Much history mixed with wonderful stories. I only wish we were in the area longer to do more of Bogdan’s tours
