We were only ones on our tour so glad Trevor Hudlin operated it as some companies would have cancelled.
Trevor was prompt, professional and knowledgeable.
When you arrive at tour, they take you into a bar where you are offered shots or other beverages. Jamaican shot is $10 and you keep glass. They light it on fire….it will burn going down…..
Then you are offered chips and hot sauce. Also offered to purchase bottle of sauce for $5.
Some musicians performed Bob Marley songs. This was a nice surprise and they were good! Tip basket on stage and you are encouraged to show appreciation.
You’ll be asked to purchase candle to light….$1 each. Gift shop there as well. Plus a little hut where you can purchase “extras”. Tip for guide encouraged too.
Seeing Bob Marley’s single bed that he wrote about in a song and sitting on his rock where he meditated and composed music was a special experience. Guide will tell you what parts of tour you can photograph and what you can’t.
Saw his resting place and paid respects.
It was a cultural experience but bring cash.
