Had a wonderful and enlightening tour with Steve. I highly recommend him as a tour guide.
We had a choice of jerk pork or chicken for lunch.
The rum punch was nice. They had no aged rum for sale at r the time no of my visit, but were bottling some the next week

Took this tour when in port on cruise. The drive to the distillery was as others described...slow and full of large potholes but our driver got us there and back safely. Both he and the tour guide at the distillery were knowledgeable about Jamaica and the rum distillery process. Enjoyed the lunch of jerk chicken and bread. Rum punch was good. Small gift shop thrrr but they were not pushy to get sales.

Great tour, well worth the visit. If you like distilleries, this is a great place to stop and do the tour. Our tour guide Steve did a fantastic job taking us through the facility. Unexpectedly, he gave us a history lesson of Jamaica and how it is tied to sugarcane and ultimately rum. I learned a lot about Jamaica that I didn’t know and about the distillery process. By the way, their rum is very good and hard to find in the states. There is a nice little gift shop at the end where you can pick out their different lines of rum.
