Experience an eco tour like no other. The Caroni Swamp is the largest mangrove wetland in Trinidad and Tobago and is home to numerous species of birds, reptiles, mammals, and other wildlife. As evening approaches look out for the national bird of Trinidad and Tobago, the Scarlet Ibis, named after its vibrant scarlet colour. Evening is when the birds return to the swamp to roost, after feeding during the day, creating a spectacle of colour.

    Navigate the maze of waterways in a small pi-rogue and discover all that lies hidden amidst the lush mangrove vegetation such as numerous species of birds, mammals, reptiles, crustaceans and the swamp's main attraction, the Scarlet Ibis.A minimum of two persons per booking is required Individuals who book for only one passenger will required to pay an extra cost of 70 percent of the total cost.

When we arrived our name wasn’t on anyone’s list and no WiFi made it impossible to pull up the voucher. We left and went to McDonalds to use their WiFi. Upon returning we were told that someone was called to confirm our tour after we left. We saw a few snakes, an anteater & different species of birds. The cost was too expensive for this experience. We received a small bag of chips with nothing to drink. I was disappointed.

Our guides were very knowledgeable and we got to watch as the scarlet ibis returned to jest for the evening. It was very picturesque.

The views were amazingggg. Ive never felt so relaxed on a body of water. i was so shocked to see how big the swamp really is. Would recommend to any nature lover.
