Start your day with a scenic drive along the North Coast road with the most amazing panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. Stop at the Maracas Lookout where you can take photos of the surrounding bays and maybe try some local snacks (not included). Continue on the 1.25-mile beach, lined with coconut trees, where waves can reach an average height of 1-meter. Swim, relax or have a cool walk along the sandy shores. Also enjoy the famous bake and fish sandwich.

We had a special day, created by Island Experiences delivered by the marvellous ‘fella’ Mr Denton Armstrong. 45 years ago my wife and I flew to Trinidad from the U.K. to join a merchant ship at the drydock in Chagueramas. We spent many days and evenings at the Chagueramas Beach Club so wanted to rekindle those memories. At the time we also had a day off work and visited Maraccas beach. The day tour exceeded every one of our expectations. ????????????????

The driver Mark showed up on time in front of the Hyatt hotel just a few steps from cruise ship. We had a wonderful private tour to breathtaking Maracas beach (2 hour stay) with an hour drive each way through the rainforest mountains which were gorgeous. Highly recommend this tour.

Great trip to a beautiful beach spot and opportunity to take photos from a vantage point en route. Good changing facilities at the beach(small charge) and food vendor options. Maracas beach is well worth a visit - you will not be disappointed
