Michael is the BEST tour guide. He is so knowledgeable about Tobago and so eager to share everything he knows about his country. He really knows his birds and is so animated and excited about each and every encounter. We loved walking through the rainforest with him and loved our private jump in the river from the tree branch. Loved having no other people around the entire day. Take this tour if you want private time with just your group. Also loved seeing the hummingbirds in their nests. So neat!!

Michael was amazing. He had a difficult group with us… 3 different goals/desires in our group of 5 and he handled it with grace and flexibility. He stayed very positive and patient. He listened to all of us and made sure to hit the most important for each of us. He has so much knowledge of the rainforest and birds. I am in awe of how quickly he could spot things that are so small and be able to point them out to us. He did well with scheduling to help us avoid most of the crowds. He was happy to continue to answer our questions throughout the day. He engaged my son who has Asperger’s… which can be difficult. This was his first time out of the country and he was pretty overwhelmed, so was withdrawn. Michael had the perfect balance of engagement without focusing on him and making him feel like the center of attention. By the end, my son was so engaged. He was our first tour guide, but remained my son’s favorite through the rest of the cruise! I highly recommend him!!!
