Visit the central slopes of the Troodos mountains, which is a must on any visit to Cyprus. The tour takes us off the beaten track with our 4x4 Land Rover defenders. Stops are made in quaint picturesque rural villages to meet the locals and get to know more about Cyprus and it's culture, history and traditions. Breath taking mountain peaks are encountered throughout the duration of the day, cascading waterfalls, where weather permitting, guest can enjoy a refreshing splash in the crystal clear waters, fresh water lakes in the middle of nowhere. We stop at a family restaurant where you can enjoy a traditional Cypriot meze, in a beautiful mountain village. Last but not least, no day would be complete without a visit to a local winery. Die Tour war perfekt! Definitiv empfehlenswert! Und man sieht sehr viel von den Bergen und wunderschöne kleine Orte auf Zypern. Auch der Tourguide war sehr nett und lustig.

Jeepsafari upp i Troodosbergen med bästa guiden Louie! Jag skojar inte. Han är Guld värd. Kunnig och skämtsam. Som en historiebok kring Faragusta och Cyperns historia. Och han har själv en personlig koppling till ön längre bak i tiden. En historia som är allt annat än fantastisk. Hans föräldrar bodde i ”spökstaden”….. Louie är brittisk cypriot och tog dessutom hand om mig i jeepen när jag kaosade kring min höjdskräck. Oavsett vad. Bättre guide finns inte. Tack Louie!
