Ciao, I’m Alessandro, the owner of Siena Tartufi. I’m a truffle hunter from 22 years. I have 3 dogs, Moka and Freddie a Lagotto Romagnolo and Pepita, a black Labrador. I really love going outside with my dogs looking for truffles . In every season there are different types of truffle that will be collected and you can do it with us... A great experience in Siena. Allejandro and Mocha were wonderful and the truffle hunting in the city was fun. Sara in the square was amazing and taught us all about the Paleo. This experience made us fall in love with Siena!

We had an amazing truffle hunt with Alessandro and Mocha. It was a very short time in the car before we were in the woods hunting truffles. Alessandro is a master at his craft and educated us a great deal before and during the hunt on what to look for. Mocha knew her assignment and is an elite truffle hunting dog. We found over 15 truffles in a little over an hour. Afterwards we went back to Alessandro’s shop to taste over 10 snacks paired with truffle products that Alessandro sells and paired with Prosecco. Sara was Alessandro’s employee that served us and educated us on the products. She is a die hard Senese and has a lot of passion for her city and her job. This is one experience I would love to do again and I can honestly say this is a can’t miss experience. You will be more than happy.

This was the highlight of our trip! Alessandro was so friendly and knowledgeable We loved spending the morning with him and his dog truffle hunting. The brunch at his shop adds to this memorable experience. This is a must see and do!!!
