    Departure to visit the Acqueducts, (22 km from Tunis). Three hundred meters high on Jebel Zaghouan, a subterranean spring bursts from the rock into the aqueduct starting here. Later this section converges with another aqueduct coming from Jougar. Together they drive for 123 kilometers to the huge cisterns of Maalga in Carthage.

J'ai visité cet endroit il ya des années maintenant mais ce fut une visite avec mon école pour nous faire connaitre l'histoire de la Tunisie et son lien avec les Romains : Ce fut un moment inoubliable on a vu la force des battisseurs Romains et leurs ingéniosité pour transporter l'eau de Zaghouan à Carthage , D'ailleurs ce gouvernorat est maintenant célèbre pour les eaux minérales ou les nombreuses source thermales ET j'y suis retourner depuis un bon nombres de fois avec des amis
