Turin, Turin, Italy Starting from the city’s main square, Piazza Castello, we’ll take Via XX Settembre and, passing by the Church of San Lorenzo and the Cathedral of Turin, we’ll come to the historic Porta Palatina, the main archaeological evidence of the Roman period.
The private guided walking tour will lead you through the elegance of the city. Its squares, palaces and churches all built throughout the 16 and 17 century. It still bears traces of the work of the most important artists active in Turin. Until 1865 it served as the residence of the Dukes of Savoy, the Kings of Sardinia and the Kings of Italy. It is possible to visit the royal apartments, lavishly decorated and furnished from the seventeenth to the twentieth century to the taste of the Savoy sovereigns. Clocks, porcellain, silver and furnishings, some dating back to the seventeenth century, can be seen. 120 minutes

Il mercato all'aperto più grande d'Europa
Questo mercato è un enorme punto di incontro tra persone di ogni cultura ed etnia e al suo interno si trovano prodotti di qualsiasi tipo...dai prodotti alimentari (da quelli piemontesi a km0 a quelli esotici provenienti dai vari angoli del mondo) ai capi di abbigliamento, passando per i prodotti per la casa, per gli oggetti di elettronica, per gli accessori per la macchina, per i prodotti di cancelleria e così via.
Il mercato è presente tutte le mattine dal Lunedì al Venerdì, mentre il Sabato rimane anche il pomeriggio.
Che voi siate turisti o torinesi, cogliete l'occasione di visitare questo grandissimo punto di scambio di merci e culture che la città sabauda possiede.
Inoltre anche i prezzi medi dei beni che vengono venduti qui, sono piuttosto bassi.
Infine il consiglio che vi posso dare nel caso in cui
decidiate di venire qui, è quello di prestare solamente attenzione ai vostri oggetti personali nel luoghi maggiormente affollati, onde evitare spiacevoli furti.
Con questo però non vi dico che sia un luogo pericoloso, e quindi oltre alle semplici accortezze che dovete prendere, potete girare per il mercato tranquillamente senza ansie.
PS il mercato è raggiungibile in non più di 10 minuti a piedi da Piazza Castello e inoltre è raggiungibile anche da Porta Nuova con il tram 4 e con il bus 11; e da Porta Susa con i bus 51 e 19.
