Pickup from hotels. Flexible departure depending on hotel location. Arrival at Perge, one of the largest ancient cities in the Pamphylia region. Perge was the capital of Pamphylia. The Roman Baths, the Agora, Colonaded Street, Nympharium and the stadium are all on the visit. The we depart for the Aspendos Ancient Theatre. This incredibly well preserved ancient theatre was built in the 2nd centrury A.D., it has a capacity of 15,000 people and its still being used for festivals and music concerts. We have a lunch break at a restaurant on a nearby river then depart for Side (pronounced Seeday). Side is one of the best classical ancient cities in Turkey, it was a port city that served the largest slave market in thsi region. During Roman times much construction took place in Side including a large theatre, Roman Baths and the Temple of Apollo.one waterfall visiting ist up to timing.

Perge city plan is based on two main streets on the east-west road and the other on the north-south road.The theater with a capacity of 15 thousand people has been well preserved. The pick-up from our hotel was right on time. Our guide, Berfin was friendly and told us a lot about the history. We had a good lunch with a view over a river. And every stop was worth the visit. Perge and Aspendos were the most impressive places.

Trip was very informative with a knowledgeable guide named Ismail. He never rushed and gave us time to go through the historical places. Food was fresh and delicious too. I enjoyed my time on the trip. And couldn’t fault the people. I am not giving 5 ratings as bus was not comfortable. It was pretty old and had issues with seats.
