Depending on where your ship docks, your driver will either be waiting on the dock as close to your ship as possible. If there are two gangplank exits he will stand in the centre of both. Or your driver will be waiting after the new passenger terminal that you will have to walk through. He will be holding a sign with your name on it.

The weather has been unusually hot in Italy this summer so the heat was really a challenge, however having the van to jump in and cool off in as needed was a lifesaver! A lot of other tours had to park and walk a long way and stand around and wait a long time to get into Florence but our van drove us all around and right to the center of the city. He gave us great recommendations and told us a lot of information about Italy, culture, and the sites we were seeing. Mauro was a great guide and we would hire him again! Totally worth spending a bit more for a private experience.

Cristiano our driver and general tour guide was great and helped us make the most off of the day trip, Chiara the Florence tour guide was exceptional, I had done some similar tours 2 years ago when we stayed in Florence and I learned some from this tour with her, we never felt overwhelmed for the amount of information given to us and while getting a very thorough explanation about the history of Florence and is landmarks. We went back to Cristiano and he then took us to Pisa, and back to the port on time. I would highly recommend this tour… Thank you all for a great experience!!!

Giovanni is the absolute best tour guide you could ever ask for! Patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. If you need a tour guide for this stop on your itinerary you’d be doing yourself a disservice by booking anyone else! 6 Stars!
