Depending on where your ship docks, your driver will either be waiting on the dock as close to your ship as possible. If there are two gangplank exits he will stand in the centre of both. Or your driver will be waiting after the new passenger terminal that you will have to walk through. He will be holding a sign with your name on it.

This was a great tour. Definitely buy your timed access tickets in advance as the tour operator recommends. We bought 9:15 am tickets for Pisa and 12:30 for the Galleria dell’Accademia (Michelangelo’s David) those times worked out great. The driver was great and very knowledgeable. The city traffic and narrow roads can be challenging but he whisked us around like a pro. This climb up the leaning tower was not a difficult as we expected as the pace of the climb was slow and there were areas to stop of need on the way up. The stairs are however heavily worn and uneven.

My family of five had the most amazing day with Walter as our tour guide. He picked us up promptly at the port, took us to Leaning Tower of Pisa, Accademia , lunch and even booked us a wine tasting. It was the high light of our trip! Thank you Walter! Grazi!

What an experience!! After the cruise line cancelled our excursion we decided to book a private one on our own, turns out it was the highlight of our vacation! Walter, you were our best tour guide!
