Depending on where your ship docks, your driver will either be waiting on the dock as close to your ship as possible. If there are two gangplank exits he will stand in the centre of both. Or your driver will be waiting after the new passenger terminal that you will have to walk through. He will be holding a sign with your name on it. Please let us know the name of your ship when you confirm your booking.

    Stroll through the narrow alleyways of this lively and colorful fishing village to reach the church of San Pietro with beautiful views across the bay. A great way to discover this area is from the sea and we recommend departing from the harbor to enjoy the ferry ride (additional cost) to Vernazza. The ferry journey will take you past the villages of Riomaggiore and Manarola with great photo opportunities from the sea.

  • Vernazza, Vernazza, Italy
    This is a great stop for lunch. Vernazza, with its proud fishing traditions, faces a little bay surrounded by cliffs and two ancient watch-towers and dominated by the church of Santa Margherita di Antiochia built in 1318 with its foundations in the sea.

  • Corniglia, Corniglia, Italy
    After lunch meet up with your driver for the short drive to Corniglia, the oldest village built around the XI century. Unlike the other villages, it is not directly adjacent to the sea and instead is set on top of a promontory surrounded by vineyards, terraces and olive groves; connected to the sea by 365 steps. For those who walk or hike there's a beautiful uphill trail from Vernazza to Corniglia! Stop here for gelato or enjoy a Vermentino wine-tasting (additional charge of around 5/10euro per person).

  • Cinque Terre, Italy
    This tour does have some flexibility. There will be moments you will want to stop the car and gaze out over the incredible views for some great photo opportunities. There may be time to stop and enjoy a wine-tasting of the wonderfully refreshing Vermentino white wine which is renowned in this terraced landscape. This is a day where you can slow down and enjoy a special Italian adventure as you journey through an incredible landscape.

Le Cinque Terra was so beautiful. Our tour guide Valter picked us up and gave suggestions as to the best way to experience the area. He was informative, friendly and personally walked us to some of the best spots we never would have found on our own. He also suggested a ferry so we could enjoy some of the amazing views of the coastlines. Finally, he made time for us to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa at the end of our tour. I would highly recommend this tour and Valter to anyone looking for a phenomenal tour.

Absolutely stunning tour and pur driver and guide Umberto was AMAZING! Comfortable minivan we were 6 pax , aircondition. Umberto picked us up at the port just outside the cruise ship. Drove to Porto Venere and had some time there to walk around and soak up the atmosphere. Drove on to Cinque Terre Manorola were he showed us the old main road hardly any tourists walked there and down to Lovers walk and harbour. He organized for a privat boat to pick us up and that was PRICELESS. The queue for the public boats was LONG! The boat and the lovely boat driver took us past Romaggiore, before heading back towards Manarola, Corniglia and then to Vernazza where Umberto had booked a table at a restaurant on the square. Fantastic! We had some free time after lunch where we walked around V ernazza and walked up to the castle. Stunning views. met up with Umberto for a comfortable and enjoyable drive back to the port. This tour is highly recommended and Umberto is worth his weight in gold. Absolutely magnificent start to our cruise.

It was the best day of our cruise! We visited two of the towns, which was just right for the time we had. Giovanni was our driver, and he was spectacular! He thought of everything, was fully engaged in making sure we had the best time doing exactly what we wanted. Perfect English! Giovanni realized that we loved food, so he arranged lunch at the perfect spot, perfect view, treated like family when we arrived, just awesome. He sensed when to stop. We told him that we had never seen Pisa, so we stopped there for 45 minutes at the end of the day - totally random - and it was the perfect amount of time to experience Pisa and be on our way! Wow, WOW, Wow!! Giovanni is the best of the best, we felt like family. Our day was perfect!!!!
