    During the tour there will be an introduction outside the church, then we will enter the cathedral and see the magnificent inlaid floor, a chapel with statues by Bernini, the Piccolomini library with frescoes by Raphael's teacher, Pinturicchio, and sculptures by Michelangelo.

  • A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
  • If clients indicate their exact number and ages in advance (children under 11 years don't pay the entrance fee) the guide can buy the tickets in advance and be refund by the clients after the tour in order to skip the line. Please not that the ticket price changes during the year.
  • In compliance with the rules indicated by the Tuscany Region, the guide will wear a mask and gloves and keep the safety distance from customers who are requested to wear a mask before the tour.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We were staying in Tuscany and wanted to see the Siena Cathedral again or as some people call it the “black and white church”. I have been in a lot of Gothic cathedrals, but this rival Chartres in France for one of the most stunning Gothic cathedrals. They only uncover the beautiful marble floors only two months every year, so we planned our trip to see the magnificent floor. Siena is a beautiful little town and having lunch in the Piazza was wonderful. Not to be missed!
