    In the afternoon, visit one of the biggest and proudest of the Tuscan hill towns, Montepulciano. This town was first under the dominance of medieval Siena and then became an ally to renaissance Florence: here you can recognize the influences of both Republics in its architecture and art. Located on a steep hill, you can look over the ledge at the the Tuscany - Umbrian border.

As you follow the main road down the hill, imagine how hard the “Bravio delle Botti” town festival must be: a competition between the neighborhoods of the town that race wine barrels from the bottom of the hill, all the way to the top. The tour with 5-star tour guide and driver Giulia was fantastico and bellissima! She and the agenda of the tour cannot be faulted. Giulia is a beautiful person to connect with as well, whilst she maintains a highly professional conduct and care of all of her guests. Inspiring scenery, landscapes in two iconic towns. I loved everything about this day tour out of Siena!

What a lovely day in the hill towns of Tuscany. Our guide, Kecko, was amazing, so much passion for the tradition and food of Tuscany. He was also very knowledgeable of the history of the area. The lunch at the organic farm was amazing, tasting their cheeses and wines, as well as their ancient grains pasta! The lunch was outside on the patio overlooking a beautiful valley. It was a wonderful day.

Great tour with a small friendly group of people who added to the experience. Marco, our guide, was a fabulous host, full of interesting information! The visit to Roberto’s farm for a tour & lunch was thoroughly enjoyable! We can’t recommend this tour highly enough, especially if you have the good fortune to travel with Marco! Thanks Marco!
