Our driver/photographer showed up promptly. The first thing we did was go over the itinerary. We wanted to see the Batik cloth work, but not the wood carving. I'd say the Batubulan Temple is a must see. There's a fascinating show and they provide an English playbill of sorts so you understand the visual story. From there we did some coffee/tea tasting and a Swing (not the far away pricey Pioneer swing). We got great photos and videos. Next up: the Desa Adat Batuan temple. It's in great shape after a millenia. After that, it was the Tegenungan Waterfall. Another must see. Be prepared for a couple hundreds steps, though. Go at your own pace, but the scenery is amazing. We grabbed a very Balinese lunch (cost not included). Quite yummy. Then it was off to the Monkey Forest. The place does not disappoint. Beware of sunglass/baby bottle thieves. They're cute, and much faster than you. It's a lot to do in a day, but the private tour is a bargain. Do it!
