Bali White Water Rafting with Optional Ubud Tour

Our driver Wahyu picked us up promptly at our hotel lobby with a friendly welcome and explanation of what our itinerary was for the day. After a lovely drive through Ubud, we arrived at the company's base camp where we were swiftly fitted out with life jackets, helmets and paddles ready for white water rafting. After a short trip to the valley edge, we descended down a steep flight of stairs through the jungle to the riverside where we were given instructions and guidance on what to do and what not to do whilst on the river. We boarded the boats and began our adventure down the rapids with our captain steering us clear of rocks and bumpy bits - they gave very clear instructions and were hilarious with their antics! The views were astonishing and we had plenty of opportunity to get out and take pictures with waterfalls, we even had a beer break halfway through on the river. Once the adventure came to a close, we walked back up to the valley edge and were driven back to base camp where we were given towels to shower and a filling lunch to refuel. We purchased pictures their camera team managed to get of us whilst fumbling down the rapids, brilliant photos that perfectly encapsulated how fun it was. After saying our goodbyes, we reconvened with Wahyu and drove to the Kanto Lampo waterfall which was awesome but crowded with other visitors taking photos. We showered once more and hit the road for the remainder of our tour through Ubud which was absolutely fantastic. We saw incredible art at Yana Art Gallery and got to taste exotic teas and coffees at Satria Agrowisata. Although the activities were truly incredible and worthwhile, it was our private tour guide Wahyu who made the whole experience so special and memorable so shout out to you buddy, you were the amazing! All in all, an excellent trip that I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to explore Ubud.

Vi havde fornøjelsen af vores guide, Yanik, som først tog os til riverrafting - det var en virkelig god tur, med rigtig højt humør! Efterfølgende var der frokost. Hernæst tog vi til fortælling og kaffesmagning ude ved Luwakfarmen. Herefter Monkey Forrest, og slutteligt Rice Terrace. Alt i alt en helt perfekt tur, med en virkelig kompetent guide! Han var tålmodig med os, og spredte god stemning. Turen var ovenikøbet billig, så en 5/5 anbefaling herfra!
