This 5 Days Gorillas and Game Safari will take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives and a boat cruise on Kazinga channel which has the highest concentration of hippos in the whole world, over 600 species of birds can be spotted an on a good day, this boat cruise can expose you to more wildlife than you can find on any given game drive. It then takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will have a chance to trek one of the habituated mountain gorilla families and take back memories. I arranged this last minute with my itinerary planner Denis and he was very helpful in the logistics, permits, and understanding the details. Note that I was very lucky to arrange this in less than one week during the low season and it is usually not possible. Fortunately, I was assigned my guide, Godwin, who was an amazing guide and a wonderful person who taught me about the animals and life in Uganda. I planned so last minute that I had none of the proper gear, cash, or clothing, and Godwin leant me his boots, loaned me cash, and borrow/rent clothing for the journey. Please be more prepared than I was but it was an incredible experience. People say it is once in a lifetime, but I would go again and bring friends or family. Also highly recommend the Gorilla Leisure Lodge and visiting the Batwa tribe and community walk.

We had an amazing time with Encounter Africa Safaris. The company was so helpful with planning and organization, but the real highlight was our guide, Steve. He was easygoing, super knowledgeable, and really kind. He taught us so much about the wildlife and Ugandan culture and history, and we enjoyed our long but comfortable jeep rides with him. The wildlife spottings blew away our expectations. The lodges were great, and the food was delicious—even for vegetarians! If you're thinking about a safari in Uganda, definitely go with Encounter Africa Safaris. If you are lucky to travel with Steve, he will make sure it's an unforgettable experience!

We enjoyed a fabulous 10 day safari which included Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanze Trekking, Several game drives, Boat Trips, Murchison Falls and a Trip to the Rhino Sanctuary. It was a brilliant, non stop trip and our driver Obed was very knowledgeable and friendly, always looking to provide us with as much as possible during our 10 days, we even had to decline some things because we were just too exhausted. 10 out of 10. We would highly recommend.
