We had a wonderful afternoon with Gertrude, who was very and provided us with insights on local cooking Uganda. We made G-Nut sauce and loads of fresh vegetables, chatted and had loads of fun with her adorable son. Highly recommended if you are looking for a truly unique experience in Kampala.

Gertrude, my host, was very friendly and informative about all the ingredients we were going to use. She showed me how to prepare the vegetables for the cooking and how to use banana leaves while cooking. The G-nuts sauce was delicious, as were all other dishes. I enjoyed the food and the relaxed atmosphere. Thanks to Getrude for this special experience.
