Your driver will collect you from your hotel or other agreed pick-up point in Kampala.
Bugoloobi, Kampala, Uganda First off, we visit bustling Bugolobi market, where you will learn to make Uganda's most famous street food, the 'rolex'. A rolex is a combination of eggs, onions and tomatoes, cooked over a charcoal stove and rolled up in a chapati. A local vendor will give you a demonstration before you cook and eat your own creation! 120 minutes
Bugoloobi, Kampala, Uganda We finish with a traditional Ugandan meal - choose from a range of stews, boiled in the traditional way, accompanied by a range of sides including fresh matooke (Uganda's staple food), rice, cassava, sweet potato and local greens. Wash it down with a glass of juice of local 'porridge'. Vegetarian options are available. 60 minutes
Bugoloobi, Kampala, Uganda Next, we visit the Moonbean Chocolate company, where we will learn all about the process of making chocolate from Uganda's own cocoa bean, sourced from Bundibugyo on the Congolese border. Have a go at making your own personalised chocolate bar; yours to eat or take home at the end! 120 minutes

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Thank you for an amazing food experience. We went to the outskirts of Kampala at the biggest fish market by the lake where I had a large plate of fish and chips.
I really enjoyed my tour and learnt alot about Uganda culture & food from my guide.

We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours. Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
