You’ll join one of our history-savvy Munich hosts as you delve into the city’s past, exploring its vibrant history. Visit the Neo-Gothic Neues Rathaus, the Baroque style Nymphenburg Palace and darker aspects of its past as you visit landmarks associated with the rise and fall of Hitler and Germany’s Third Reich, like the building where Hitler first joined the Nazi party and the former Gestapo headquarters. Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host who will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

The tour guide led a large group of us through Dachau. He was very knowledgeable, was prepared with laminated pictures that added to the experience, answered everyone’s questions, and seemed able to thoroughly answer any question about the camp and the time. Also seemed like a nice guy. Highly recommend.

Our guide, Ender, was very knowledgeable. He explained the history, politics, architecture and culture of Munich in a very engaging way. We asked to have some food & beer and he knew the perfect places.
